Voodoo

Known Voodoo insignia often seem threatening from the outside: decayed goat heads with bared teeth | L ittle dolls made of filthy cloths, chicken feathers, blood, strange amulets for protection against evil powers. What seems to cause incomprehension, disgust and fear here is religion and medicine in the countries where voodoo is practiced. In hours of voodoo ceremonies, various gods are paid homage, people fall into trance states and blood sacrifices are made.
